So I was very surprised to see how much more beautiful the colors are in person and that the bedding itself is just as good as the stuff you'd find in a Babies R' Us, Wal-Mart, or Target even. Yes, there's a few dangling strings that can be easily snipped off without damaging the integrity of the bedding. I haven't washed it yet, but just eyeing it I can say the fabric should hold up well to a washing. This is not my first child and I've come across cheap stuff before, this is not that. If you're looking for quality at a great price seriously consider any of the Boutique line of baby bedding.
